John Harris: Brainchild


John is the brain child behind The Morden Family Funday and is since in semi-retirement from the organisers committee. It is rumoured he is working for MI4.

 

John is a keen fisherman and can claim to have landed the largest Carp (38Ibs) ever in Surrey.


Andy Butcher: Event Co-Ordinator


Andy is heavily involved in local charities. Every Saturday morning he can be found at Morden Little League as he sits on the committee. He also volunteers for Merton and Morden Guild where is hosts a monthly Poker afternoon. You may have bumped into him on Lower Morden Lane at Christmas time. 


  Tanya Buller:  Event Co-ord for Merton Dog Watch

Tanya is the Event Co-ord for Merton Dog Watch and The Dog Show at Morden Family Funday. She has also advised on the first Dog Show at the Mitcham Carnival in 2016,

Tanya qualified as a dog trainer 12 years ago at ADTAB and has trained many dogs in obedience, behavioural problems and agility.  She is also animal first aid trained.

Tanya has been running the dog walking business for 10 years and absolutely loves her job and the wonderful dogs she looks after.

At All Breeds they have daycare dogs, walking and home board for all clients and they walk at Morden Park, Nonsuch Park and many more places.

She has have a wonderful son who is 3 years old he sometimes comes walking and plays with the dogs. They all love him.

Sylvia Queenborough: Event Advisor


Sylvia Queenborough successfully organised the MPPFA Bank Holiday Fete in Morden Park 2010-2012, the Lower Morden Lane Xmas Lights charity collection for St Raphael's Hospice for the past 13 years and worked as a volunteer with Age UK Festival and outings. Past Chairman and  currently Programme and Outings organiser of West Wimbledon Society and Committee member for Town & Around events for Wimbledon National Trust.

John De Ronde: Website and Magazine Designer


John is a long standing member of The Rotary Club of Morden and is also currently the Director of the ABCD: Arts Building Children s Dreams (UK) charity.

Zoe Butcher: Event Co-Ordinator


Zoe graduated from Manchester Met University with a BA hons in Travel & Tourism. Since leaving university she has worked for a local charity - The Charity for Civil Servants and has recently been appointed as their Fundraising and Events Coordinator.  Zoe enjoys craft making and is a keen baker, she has applied to partake in the Great British Bake Off and her Christmas Gingerbread House, Spicy Parmesan Hearts and Boozy Lemon Drizzle cake are an unmistakable pleasure.
