Morden - The Edge Of  Surburbia.

Stepping out of Morden underground station you enter a primarily residential area affording various styles of flats, maisonettes and houses priced to suit first time buyers and middle range family accommodation. Apart from the underground affording a direct route to London Bridge there are excellent bus services to Wimbledon and Sutton centres, there are BR stations at Morden South and South Merton as well as tram links to Wimbledon and Croydon.

In a southerly direction there are numerous leisure facilities including several golf courses tennis and bowling clubs. The famous Epsom Downs race course is only 15 minutes drive away as are a variety of good quality restaurants. The area is favoured for the excellent schooling facilities, which include the following primary schools, Morden, Hillcross, Abbotsbury, Malmesbury, St Teresa R C, Hatfeild, Aragon and St Annes special school. South Thames College, Merton Campus is in London road and there are numerous places of worship.

Morden Hall Park boasts 120 acres of parkland through which runs the River Wandle, with a variety of bridges traversing the river, all of this creates a delightful semi rural atmosphere to be enjoyed by all.
